A Tagxedo is a word cloud that you create to demonstrate a topic or idea in a visual manner.
To create a word cloud:
If I wanted to create a Tagxedo on "social justice" I might make a list like this:

humanrights, humanrights, humanrights
society, society
billofrights billofrights

gandhi
**notice that I took out spaces in between words in a phrase. This is so that the words will appear together in the Tagxedo. You can also just copy your notes and add more words and phrases to make certain ones stand out.
From your Tagxedo, the reader should be able to have an idea of
Copy and paste or type your list or notes into Tagxedo, change the color theme, layout, shape, etc to enhance your message and then click "save" to save it as a .jpeg. Upload your .jpeg to the assignment in Edmodo.
To create a word cloud:
- Review your notes looking for the words and phrases that are most important to your issue. You do not need to use sentences or little words like "a, an, the, and," etc. Notice in the example the words are actions or nouns only.
- Make a list of the words you want to use. For the words that you want to appear the largest (see "justice," "social," etc.), repeat them several times to make them appear larger in the word cloud.

- names of major leaders involved or people effected
